Hi, Am I the only one who was there that remembers the Doobie Brothers? Granted, I was really high, but I remember Ravi Shankar, Foghat, and especially the Doobie Brothers,as they were towards the beginning.
I read about the negative comments on Wikipedia, but only remember a lot of kindness, a sense of community, and of course, the rain. Also, the lack of food; however I was so high on Mescaline and mushrooms, I couldn't have cared less!
I'm only sorry we all had to come down from the idealistic vision we share so hard.
hey, i'm sitting here and was thinking bout that concert bull island! all i remember is hitch hiking from downriver detroit with my bud hughy,and the only band i can remember is ursa major!! ahh it was raining,and some locals set a few hotdogs stands on fire cause they didnt like the concert thing in there back yard!! oh yea i seen the oscar meyer weiner truck on the x-way!!!! rudymild here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
